2. Login and Mobile Verification

LioKart may use SMS OTP verification to register users, log users into their accounts, or verify their mobile numbers.

Your mobile number may be shared with an authorised communication service provider only to deliver OTPs and other necessary service communications.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Create and manage your LioKart account
• Verify your identity or mobile number
• Display stores and products available in your city
• Process and deliver orders
• Provide order updates
• Manage returns, refunds, or exchanges

LioKart may request access to your location to:

Location access will be used only when necessary for LioKart services and subject to the permissions provided on your device.

5. Payments

Customer payments may be processed using authorised third-party payment gateway providers.

LioKart does not directly store your complete debit card, credit card, UPI PIN, CVV, or online banking password.

Payment providers may collect and process payment-related information according to their own privacy and security policies.

LioKart may retain transaction-related information such as order amount, payment status, transaction reference, refund status, and payment method where required for operating the service.

6. How We Share Information

We may share necessary information with:

• Sellers fulfilling your order
• Delivery partners
• Payment gateway providers
• SMS/OTP service providers
• Technology and hosting service providers
• Professional advisers or service providers where required
• Government authorities or regulators where legally required

We only intend to share information that is reasonably necessary for providing or operating the relevant service.

LioKart does not sell users' personal information to advertisers.

7. Sellers and Customer Information

A seller may receive information required to fulfil an order, such as:

• Customer delivery information where required
• Order status

Sellers must use such information only for fulfilling LioKart orders and related legitimate purposes.

8. Notifications

LioKart may send in-app notifications relating to:

• Delivery status
• Returns or refunds

• Relevant offers or LioKart updates

Users may be able to control certain notification permissions through their device settings.

However, no internet-based platform or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

LioKart currently does not intentionally use third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics solely for behavioural tracking. If this changes materially, this Privacy Policy may be updated.
